Recently there was a Ball held at the Ssemm household to celebrate Harvestide. During the Ball however a rather frightening individual unmasked himself and began to rob everyone of their wealth. During the chaos and confusion, a lot of smoke and fog filled the room and when it cleared the mystery man was gone but he had left a basilisk behind.

Several members of House Ssemm where turned to stone by its gaze and Aristrianih actually died from venomous snakes which were also in the house.

The basilisk was eventually destroyed, the members of House Ssemm restored and Aristrianih was brought back through the fortunate grace of Tymora, goddess of Luck.
